Members of the Strathmore RCMP are asking for help from the public as they attempt to identify the suspect in a Thursday morning assault.

At approximately 6:20 a.m., police were called to a business in the town of Langdon following reports a woman had been assaulted by a man.

An EMS crew was dispatched to the business and the assault victim, an adult female, was transported by ambulance to a Calgary area hospital. According to EMS spokesperson Adam Loria, the patient was in stable but serious condition with soft tissue injuries.

RCMP members have identified a suspect vehicle in connection to the assault:

  • 2000 Chevrolet Tracker
  • Blue
  • Without a licence plate

Anyone who encounters the suspect vehicle is asked not to approach its occupants and to immediately call 911.
