Police are releasing the name of Calgary's 22nd homicide victim of 2008.

On August 9th, 21-year old Kevin Steven Anaya was shot and killed on the front lawn of a home in the 1000 block of Marcombe Drive N.E.

An eyewitness told CTV News he saw two men wearing masks drive up to the home and start shooting the victim.

Police still don't know why Anaya was shot, but officers suspect he knew his attackers.

While investigators don't know if it was gang related, the CPS Gang Enforcement Team is assisting the Homicide Unit with the investigation.

Police are looking for a dark-coloured sedan, possibly an import model, with tinted windows.

They are also looking for another dark-coloured sedan, possibly an import model, with a tail fin.

Investigators believe at least two men dressed in dark, baggy clothing exited the vehicles and fired several shots at Anaya.

The suspects are described as between 5'10" to 5' 11" tall, with a light to medium complexion.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at
