Paul Brandt set to hit the Saddledome stage for Stampede performance

Calgary’s favourite homegrown country star is set to return to his roots for a one night show during the 2014 edition of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

Country superstar Paul Brandt will perform at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday, July 11. The show is expected to include songs from Brandt’s most recent offering ‘Just as I am’ as well as a selection of crowd favourites from the musician’s first ten albums.

Brandt’s meteoric rise in the country music world followed his first place finish in the 1992 Calgary Stampede Talent Search.

“Stampede has been like a second home for Paul throughout his career and we are thrilled to have him on Alberta’s biggest stage,” said Adam Oppenheim, managing director, Stampede Concerts Inc.

Tickets for the concert will be available for purchase starting on Thursday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m. and start at 29.99 (plus fees). Concert tickets will be available through Ticketmaster, by phone [phone], or at Ticketmaster outlets.

The announcement of the Paul Brandt concert adds to the impressive list of country talent scheduled to perform during the 2014 Calgary Stampede including the Nashville North lineup.
