Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection to a February bank robbery in the city’s southeast.

On the afternoon of Friday, February 1, a man entered the Scotiabank branch in the 3200 block of 17 Ave. S.E.  After waiting in line, the male suspect approached the teller wicket and handed a hold-up note to the staff member.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and he left the bank without incident.

The suspect is described as:

  • Dark skinned male
  • Believed to be in his mid 20’s
  • Approximately 183 cm (6’) tall
  • Weighing approximately 77 kg (170 lbs)
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a dark coloured toque and a grey hoodie
