Calgary police say they know who killed Jacqueline Crazybull but they do not have enough evidence to lay charges.

On July 11, 2007, Crazybull was killed while sitting on a bench on 17 Avenue S.W.

She was one of five people randomly stabbed throughout the city that night.

Police say all the victims were lured over to a car by three men. They talked to the victims and coaxed them closer to the vehicle so they could attack.

Four of the victims recovered from their wounds but Crazybull did not.

Police say they are struggling to find the evidence to charge the men they believe are responsible for the murder.

"We do have three suspects we have been looking at for quite some time....they have been questioned and they know they are suspects in this investigation," says SSgt. Patty McCallum from the Homicide Unit.

Anyone with information that could help police with this investigation is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
