Calgary Police have charged three people who were arrested this week in connection with the death of Ryan Lane.

Sheena Rempel (Cuthill), 26, Wilhelm Klassen Rempel, 38, and Timothy Mark Rempel, 27, have been charged with first degree murder.

It's likely they will also face more charges as the CPS builds their case.

Police released the information on Friday morning.

They also say that Ryan Lane's remains were found during a search of a 13,000 acre area northwest of the community of Beiseker in June 2012.

In the release, police say that Lane was likely lured to a location in the 5200 block of Country Hills Blvd. N.W. where he was kidnapped and later killed.

They have also confirmed that the motive was a custody disagreement.

On Thursday night, Sheena and her brother-in-law Wil were escorted into the arrest processing unit in Calgary.

Tim turned himself in to police in Grande Prairie earlier this week.

Sheena Rempel is the mother of Ryan Lane's daughter.

All three are suspected in the death of Ryan Lane, the Calgary father who disappeared nine months ago.

Lane had reunited with his young daughter just a few hours before his disappearance.

Later that day, he received an anonymous call from someone claiming they could help with an ongoing custody dispute.

According to investigators, Lane hadn't seen her in three years and Sheena admitted pubicly that she didn't want Lane back in her daughter's life.

Police made an announcement last week that Lane’s remains were found.

Wil and Tim’s parents, who live in Airdrie, declined to comment.

Ryan Lane's parents is not speaking publicly about the arrests.

Sheena, Wil, and Tim will appear in court on December 6.
