A 30-year-old Calgary teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student is in trouble with the law again after allegedly breaching the conditions of her release.
Jennifer Mason is charged with four offences, including sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching, in connection to an incident involving a male student from the school where she was a teacher.
Police were notified by a member of the public who reported suspicious activity inside a vehicle in northwest Calgary.
Officers attended and spoke to both individuals and Mason was charged on February 13, 2014.
Mason taught at Our Lady of Assumption School in the northwest and police say that the student was 15-years-old when the contact first began so he could not consent to a sexual relationship.
Police says the alleged offences took place between August 2012 and November 2013.
Mason was released on bail and suspended by the Catholic School Board.
Court documents show that Mason is now charged with two counts of breaching the conditions of her release.
Part of her release conditions require her to stay away from the teen and anyone under the age of 16 who is not a relative.
Mason was rearrested last week and the court documents allege that she contacted the teen on May 10.
She appeared briefly before a judge this week and remains in custody at the Calgary Remand Center.
A bail review will be held on Monday and it is expected that the Crown will revoke bail.
