An 18-year-old man has been pulled from Park Lake after being submerged for roughly 10 minutes Monday afternoon.
 
Emergency crews were called to the lake, located approximately 15 kilometres north of the city of Lethbridge, shortly after 4:00 p.m.
 
A conservation officer and an off-duty EMT attempted CPR on the teenager but were unable to retrieve a pulse. An EMS crew arrived on scene and transported the patient to a rendezvous point with a STARS Air Ambulance. En route, the EMS crew were successful in their attempt to regain the patient's pulse.
 
The 18-year-old was airlfted to a hospital in Calgary in critical condition.
