Calgary police arrested a third man in connection to Saturday morning’s stabbing death of an 18-year-old near a Beltline nightclub.

On Thursday, police arrested and charged 20-year-old Joch Pouk in connection to the fatal attack on Lukas Strasser-Hird. Pouk faces a charge of second degree murder.

Pouk is the third person facing charges in relation to Strasser-Hird’s death. Nathan Gervais, 18, has been charged with first degree murder and Franz Cabrera, 19, faces a second degree murder charge.

Strasser-Hird was discovered badly beaten in an alleyway behind the 200 block of 10 Ave. S.W. early in the morning of November 23. The 18-year-old victim was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries later that morning.

The Medical Examiner has determined Strasser-Hird’s death was the result of stabbing.
