Fire under investigation in Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent fire investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire.

Tuesday at 8:35 p.m., CKFR responded to the structure fire at 15810 Thomson Line.

Firefighters battled the blaze despite the extremely cold temperatures and harsh winter conditions.

A Bothwell tanker was also called to aid in water shuttle operations. The Command Unit was present on site to offer rehabilitation and a warming station for the crews.

Chatham-Kent Police and EMS were on scene to provide support.

No injuries were reported.
