Darrel Janz has brought the news into southern Alberta homes for the last 40 years and CTV Calgary is proud to present a documentary that chronicles his fascinating life and remarkable career.
“Darrel Janz: A Life in the News” was written and narrated by our own Kevin Green.
The documentary takes us all the way back to Darrel’s roots in Saskatchewan and through the 40 years he has spent covering the news from the anchor chair at CTV Calgary.
Darrel is just as comfortable in the role of reporter and will continue to produce his weekly Inspired series for the station.
Darrel lives in High River with his family and continues to be a mentor and teacher to up-and-coming broadcasters and an active member of his community.
