Former U.S. Secretary of State and U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton stopped in Calgary on Thursday to speak at the Telus Convention Centre, giving her comments on the situation in Ukraine.
She gave the keynote speech at the ‘Global Perspective Series’, a sold out performance.
Tickets cost about $368 apiece.
During her speech to the crowd, Clinton said that Russia is a great country with potential, 'if it were only governed better'.
She said that the world has seen this type of action before from the country, when Russia invaded Georgia in August 2008.
When it came to the Keystone XL Pipeline, she said little other than it's up to Secretary of State John Kerry.
Clinton was in Vancouver on Wednesday night, where she spoke about the situation in Ukraine and women in politics.
Following the speech, she met with Frank McKenna, Canada’s former ambassador to the U.S.
Clinton is expected to announce later this year whether or not she'll consider running for President.
