Three people were found dead inside a Lethbridge apartment on Tuesday and police have released their identities.
Police were called to a residence in a building at 230 McGill Boulevard W. at about 2:30 a.m. for a check on welfare.
Three people were found dead inside the home and police say they all lived there.
The victims have been identified as:
- Kyle Osborn Devine, 27
- Clarissa Michelle English, 24
- Dakota Julius Ray English, 18
Police cordoned off a large area near the home on Tuesday to search for evidence and the forensic team is still processing the scene.
Investigators say they believe the three are victims of a targeted attack and say there is no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to the public
The bodies of the victims were taken from the home on Tuesday afternoon and are undergoing autopsies at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.
“I can tell you at this point in time, as with any homicide investigation, the first 24 hours are always a critical piece where we’re collecting as much evidence as we can. We’re now in a position that we are able to sift through that evidence to be able to identify persons of interest or suspects and be able to advance the investigation,” said LRPS Insp. Bill Anderson.
So far no suspects have been identified and police continue to investigate.
