Give the Gift of Safety Campaign

Join CTV Calgary as we reach out to women and children affected by family violence and poverty.

CTV’s Give the Gift of Safety live broadcast on December 12th raised $35,120 and we want to thank Calgarians for their generous donations. All money raised from this campaign goes towards supporting the YWCA and will help ensure all women and children are safe this holiday season. We would also like to thank our partner Golden Acre Garden Sentre for their generosity in helping with this holiday campaign.

The amount beats our previous 2011 record for donations for the shelter!

The fundraiser benefits the various programs offered by the YWCA Calgary, including providing shelter for women and children who are fleeing poverty or domestic violence.

CTV would also like to thank the Rotary Club of Calgary Centennial for a $10,000 donation.
