High pressure aloft, westerly wind at the surface...all adding up to chinook warmth for the next few days. Calgary and southern Alberta will continue to enjoy above average temperatures, peaking on Friday. While it will be slightly cooler on the weekend and beyond, temperatures will remain above average with highs above the melting point. Central and east-central Alberta, including Edmonton, picked up quite a bit of snow Wednesday. The sky in that area is expected to clear overnight, so fog may form, particularly from Llloydminster to Hanna.
