An autopsy is scheduled for Monday on the body of a young man who was found dead inside a car in Bridgeland last week.
Anthony Fernandez was found dead in an alleyway on Friday afternoon.
He was reported missing on Christmas Eve, his family turning to social media to try and locate him.
Police have not yet determined the cause of death, but more details should come to the surface following the autopsy.
At around 3 p.m., police were called to the 1200 block of Colgrove Ave. N.E. in the Bridgeland/Renfrew area after reports of a suspicious car.
Officers found a man’s body inside.
Family and friends have since identified the man as Fernandez.
A Facebook page has been set up to collect donations so his mother can pay for his funeral.
