The family of an 11-year-old boy and members of the Calgary Police Service are searching for the child who has not been seen since Sunday afternoon.
Mohamed Shaikh left his home in the 2400 block of 48 St. S.E. at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon and his family has not heard from him since.
Shaikh is described as:
- A black male
- Approximately 165 cm (5’5”) tall
- Weighing 60 kgs (approximately 130 lbs)
- Having a slim build
Shaikh was wearing blue jeans, a red t-shirt and a black leather coat at the time of his disappearance. He is familiar with Calgary Transit and may be travelling around Calgary using busses and CTrains.
