A Calgary woman is $1M richer after she found that she had won one of the five guaranteed prize draws from Lotto 6/49 on Christmas Day.
Bui Phan, says that she and her husband checked the numbers that night and were shocked when they realized they matched.
“I was so excited,” Bui said.
She says she plans to pay off her mortgage and some bills, and then just take some time to relax.
Phan is the latest lottery winner in the city.
Kelly Kim, a Calgary mom, won $8.1M in a December 28 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Kim shared her win with the owner of a ticket bought in Winnipeg.
