RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Kenneth Barry Wallage in connection to gunshots fired into a home in the southern Alberta village of Warner.

On December 28, 2013, shots were fired at a home, narrowly missed two occupants who were sleeping at the time. No one was injured in the shooting and RCMP believe the house was targeted and the event not a random attack.

In connection to the incident, RCMP have charged Wallage with two counts of attempted murder.

Officers believe Wallage is in possession of a stolen black 2004 Dodge 1500 truck with Alberta licence plate RUJ-371. The truck has a black grill, chrome strips along the base of the truck body and is missing the mirror on the driver’s side.

Wallage is considered armed and dangerous. RCMP have confirmed Wallage is armed with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Anyone who may encounter Wallage is asked to not approach the murder suspect and to contact local police or crime stoppers immediately.

RCMP officers from Milk River, Lethbridge and Calgary are involved in the investigation.

The village of Warner is located approximately 65 kilometres southeast of Lethbridge.
