CALGARY -- *NOTE: Given the government of Alberta's decision to move from daily updates on active, recovered and fatal COVID-19 case numbers in the province to weekly updates with fewer details provided, as of March 21, CTV News Calgary will no longer continue to compile online data on case counts for Calgary. This unexpected change to the government's approach means the numbers that CTV News has been compiling since the spring of 2020 cannot be easily compared to the data information that is now provided by Alberta Health on a limited basis.*
