Death of young man ruled homicide

Police are confirming the death of a young man in Bridgeland last week was a homicide.

But they’re not releasing the cause of death at this point.

19-year-old Anthony Fernandez was found dead in an alley in the 1200 block of Colgrove Avenue N.E. Friday afternoon.

Police say they were called to reports of a suspicious vehicle and found the body inside.

Fernandez had been reported missing on Christmas Eve.
