One of Alberta's most influential broadcasters is calling it quits on his popular daytime talk show.
Dave Rutherford has been hosting his open-line radio show on QR radio for the past 20 years. On Monday, the radio personality announced his show will end this July.
Over the years he has become known for his hard-line conservative views.
Rutherford insists he is not retiring, and that he expects to work elsewhere in the media, but his relationship with Newstalk 770 will end on July 26, 2013.
