Members of the arson unit are investigating a Saturday morning fire in the city’s northeast which significantly damaged the exterior of the abandoned home.
Fire crews responded to a home in the 700 block of Taradale Drive N.E. at approximately 1:30 a.m. following reports of flames. The efforts of firefighters prevented the fire from spreading throughout the home.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed but the fire is considered suspicious and the arson unit is leading the investigation.
