The CPS Homicide Unit is leading the investigation into the death of an unidentified person in the city’s northeast.
According to police, at around 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a home on Whitworth Rd. N.E. for a check on welfare. On arrival, police located the person in question. The unidentified person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the gender or age of the deceased or a suspected cause of death.
The death is considered suspicious and police have cordoned off the home.
