Alberta Health Services confirms that they are two new cases of measles in Calgary, at least one of the infected people is a student at Western Canada High School. 

The two cases are connected and are not travel related.

The infected people may have unknowingly spread the virus in a number of locations including Western Canada High School.

Measles is highly contagious and spreads easily through the air.

It can take 21 days to incubate. 

Alberta Health Services will be contacting students that may be at risk, AHS won't contact students who are known to be fully vaccinated.
