The Calgary Police Service is hoping surveillance video stills and a description of the alleged suspect will generate tips from the public which will assist in identifying the perpetrator of a June liquor store robbery

On Sunday, June 9, a man entered a liquor store on Shawville Blvd. S.E. armed with a tire iron.  He confronted the cashier and demanded access to the register.

The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store.  He left the parking lot in a large, black, newer model truck with distinctive white or silver lettering on the rear window and the side panels.

The culprit is described as:

  • A caucasian male
  • Tanned complexion
  • Between 168 – 175 cm tall (5’6” – 5’9”)
  • Medium build
  • Dark hair
  • Dark eyes

The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, white runners, and a black hoodie with a distinctive grey logo.
