A Saturday afternoon crash in the southwest has claimed the life of one person and sent two others to hospital.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Oakfield Dr. and 26 St. S.W.

According to police a motorcycle was travelling westbound on Oakfield Dr. when a Ford Taurus heading south on 26 St. failed to yield to the bike.
