The Homicide Unit is now at the scene of a home in northeast Calgary for an investigation into a suspicious death.
Police were called to the home, in the 1000 block of Maitland Drive N.E. at about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday after a body was discovered just outside.
The death is considered suspicious in nature.
Neighbours tell CTV Calgary that they witnessed an SUV driving suspiciously in the area early on Sunday morning.
One man, who did not want to be named, said the situation is scary.
"It's a family neighbourhood. It's owned by families and not many rentals. We are close. We communicate a lot between the neighbours, so it's crazy."
He says that the situation has disrupted a regularly peaceful Sunday.
"Usually you have breakfast and are happy. You try to get out, but I guess not today. It's something you don't want to see or have happen in your neighbourhood or close to you or somebody you know, right?"
