Shortly after police were alerted to a possible shooting threat at Calgary's Southcentre Mall, an investigation discovered the threat was a false alarm.
The call came in at about 2:30 p.m. and police investigated the shopping centre.
They soon discovered that the message that came into the security offices had been misinterpreted and there was no threat.
The mall was not evacuated at any point on Sunday afternoon.
