A 24-year-old man died in hospital from injuries he sustained in an assault on a street in the Marlborough Park area on Sunday and police are now trying to locate his vehicle.
Police were called to the 5500 block of Maddock Drive N.E. at about 9:15 p.m. for reports of an altercation and found an injured man at the scene.
Tyler Sanderson was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later died.
Police believe Sanderson was driving a light-green 2001 Ford Expedition, with Alberta plates AA8565, at the time of the incident and they are now looking for it.
Police say the attack on Sanderson was not random and they are asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of the vehicle to call them at 403-266-1234, or the Homicide Unit Tip Line at 403-428-8877.
