Calgary police are asking for public assistance in locating the suspect believed to be responsible for two recent holdups at a southeast liquor store in which a knife was brandished.
On the evening of December 4, 2014, a man entered the 7 Day Liquor Store in the 4500 block of 26 Ave SE armed with a knife. The suspect demanded cash and the employee complied.
Several weeks later, on Sunday, January 25, 2015, a man with a knife entered the same Dover store and robbed the cashier at knifepoint. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and left without incident.
No one was injured in either robbery.
Police believe one suspect is responsible for both robberies and surveillance images of the alleged culprit have been released in the hope of identifying the man.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian
- Believed to be in his mid-thirties
- Between 160 and 168 cm (5’3”- 5’6”) tall
- Having a medium build
