Seasoned veteran provides leadership to young Trojans roster

The SAIT Trojans mens hockey team may have 16 rookies on this year's roster but they find themselves back in familiar territory in the ACAC final.  The Trojans find themselves in a battle with the NAIT Ooks, after splitting the first two games in the series.

Sprinkled within all those rookies is some veteran leadership, including team captain Garrett Watson.

Watson, a Calgary native, returned back home for his education after playing in the AJHL with the Drayton Valley Thunder.

Watson is finishing his fourth year of hockey with the Trojans, and will graduate from the institution’s accounting program.   The SAIT captain has secured a job beginning in September and an ACAC championship would be the perfect way to end his career with the Trojans.
