The Calgary Police Service has released surveillance camera footage of a recent armed robbery at a liquor store on International Avenue.
According to police, a man entered the T & T Liquor Store in the 4600 block of 17 Avenue Southeast in the early evening hours of Thursday, June 23, 2016.
The man approached the counter, produced a knife and demanded cash. The employee gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled without incident.
The suspect is described as:
- Being between 35 and 45 years old
- Approximately 173 cm ( 5’8”) tall
- Weighing roughly 118 kg (260 lbs)
- Having a heavy build
- Having black hair, brown eyes and a black goatee
At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing an orange University of Tennessee hoodie.
