Thieves look for easy pickings in LRT parking lots

Every Christmas police warn shoppers to lock their cars and keep newly bought gifts out of sight but this year thieves have found another spot to hit up unsuspecting citizens.

Calgary Transit says several vehicles at the Fish Creek - Lacombe LRT Station were vandalized.

Officials say about 18 cars were broken into in the parking lot and most of the thefts happened on November 5^th and one was reported on December 2^nd.

At the time, Calgary Transit and police had no suspects, but after examining closed-circuit footage, they believe the smash and grabs were the work of one person.
