A tornado watch for Calgary and surrounding areas has ended.
Environment Canada issued a tornado watch for Calgary and areas north and south of the city at about 3:30 p.m. and said conditions were favourable for funnel clouds to form on Monday afternoon.
The watch also extended to Airdrie, Cochrane, Olds, Sundre, Brooks, Strathmore, Vulcan, Drumheller, and Three Hills but has since ended for those areas also.
A severe thunderstorm watch for the Cypress Hills Provincial Park, Foremost, Lethbridge, Taber and Milk River areas ended at about 4:45 p.m.
