The Calgary Wranglers got back on the winning side of the street Friday night, defeating the Henderson Silver Knights 5-3 at the Saddledome.

The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for Calgary.

After jumping out to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Adam Klapka, the Wranglers went into reverse early in the second, as the Silver Knights scored twice to take a one-goal lead.

However, the Wranglers roared back, getting three straight goals in eight minutes from Rory Kerins, William Stromgren and Klapka to push ahead 4-2.

In the third, Henderson cut the lead to a single goal when Braeden Bowman scored to make it 4-3, but Clark Bishop found the empty net late to seal the deal for the Wranglers.

Next up for the Wranglers is a Sunday matinee rematch with the Silver Knights.

Puck drop is scheduled for 1 p.m.
