Calgary police say a body was found in the Elbow River on Tuesday morning.
The discovery was made by a passerby walking in the area of 2 Street and 26 Avenue S.W. just after 9:30 a.m.
Emergency crews retrieved the body and after an examination, the Medical Examiner deemed the death as non-criminal.
No name will be released.
