A woman, believed to be in her 50s, has been transported to hospital in potentially life threatening condition after suffering a fall while cycling in North Glenmore Park.
EMS public education officer Adam Loria says emergency crews were called to a location near 37 Street Southwest shortly before 3:00 p.m. A group of bystanders led the paramedic crew to the injured woman along the pathway system.
The cyclist was transported by ambulance to the Foothills Medical Centre.
According to witness reports, the woman was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
