Police say the death of a man at a northeast Calgary home late Monday evening is not suspicious and further testing will be needed to determine a cause of death.

Residents of Bridgeland woke up to find a number of police cars parked in front and behind a home in the neighbourhood, which was blocked off with crime scene tape.

Police were called to the home in the 200 block of 8A Street N.E. at about 8 p.m. on Monday.

One person was found dead inside.

On Tuesday afternoon, the death was ruled not suspicious and police say the cause of death has yet to be determined and further testing is required.
