A man who had been residing in a treed area near the Shaganappi Point Golf Course for an unknown length of time was discovered lifeless in his tent Saturday morning. A friend of the deceased made the grisly discovery and notified police.
Police officers and the Medical Examiner responded to the scene and determined the nature of the death to be not suspicious.
A preliminary assessment of the body indicated the man had been dead for a few days and his death was likely caused by exposure to frigid temperatures.
