With just two weeks to go in their campaigns, the three candidates for PC leadership met for a debate in southwest Calgary in an effort to get their voices heard.

It’s the third such debate held this week, with the first two taking place in Edmonton.

Calgary’s debate, hosted by the Rotary Club, was sold out, mostly through online sales.

During the forum, each candidate had seven minutes to summarize their platform and a question and answer period followed.

Candidates focused on government accountability and rebuilding the party’s image in the wake of the scandal left behind by former Premier Alison Redford.

The leadership vote is scheduled to take place on September 6.
