A 14-year-girl suffered serious injuries in a mountain biking crash near the Upper Kananaskis Lake day use area on Thursday.
A STARS Air Ambulance crew was deployed to Kananaskis shortly before 1:00 p.m. after Alpine Helicopters retrieved, and ground EMS transported, the teenager from the scene of the collision.
According to EMS, the girl was transported to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in serious, potentially life-threatening condition with undisclosed injuries.
The nature of the crash has not been disclosed.
