Calgary police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an early morning collision involving a truck and a northeast business.
The crash occurred at around 4:30 Saturday morning when a truck drove into the front entrance of the Mac’s convenience store in the 4100 block of Marlborough Drive N.E.
According to police, the driver of the truck failed to remain at the scene of the crash, and a language barrier is impeding their investigation. No one was injured in the collision.
The Calgary Fire Department Heavy Rescue team responded to the store to verify the structural integrity of the building and shore up the entrance.
