According to the calendar, spring arrived in Calgary on the 20th of March, but Mother Nature appears to have missed the memo.

CTV Calgary Meteorologist Steve Rothfels expects the city of Calgary to be hit with approximately 15 cm of snow between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening.  Rothfels says the snowfall combined with a strong wind out of the north will drastically reduce visibility resulting in poor driving conditions on the city's streets and highways.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the majority of central and southern Alberta.    For updated information on warnings within the province of Alberta visit Environment Canada’s Public Weather Warnings.
