Travelers will be able to get to more locations than ever before as the Calgary-based WestJet announced its new summer schedule.
The airline is adding five new routes, increasing the frequency on 20 existing routes, and making five of their popular seasonal routes available year-round.
Building on the WestJet Encore service started in Western Canada, flights will now be made available on that airline between Toronto and Thunder Bay as well Thunder Bay and Winnipeg.
Encore is also beefing up their service to Fort McMurray, adding new routes to Kelowna and Vancouver and non-stop service to Las Vegas, year-round service to Toronto.
Officials also say they’ve increased the frequency of flights to Calgary and Edmonton from Fort McMurray.
There will also be new daily non-stop flights between Calgary and Prince George and Calgary to New York’s JFK Airport starting in April.
Calgarians headed south for some sun will also be able to enjoy service increases to Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, and Phoenix as well as several Mexican and Caribbean destinations.
