Calgary Police are on scene after they received a call of a suspicious death inside a home in Forest Lawn on Monday morning.
They received the call at about 6:35 a.m. from the 1800 block of 42 St. S.E.
When they arrived, they found a woman dead inside the home and don’t know the cause of the death.
One witness is being interviewed by police and they are holding the scene until the medical examiner arrives.
Duty Staff Sergeant John McCarthy says that there were no obivous signs of death on the victim. "So far, we don't have any signs of trauma. Once the autopsy's done, they'll determine a cause of death for us."
An autopsy is scheduled for later on Monday.
