Calgary police are working to identify two people believed responsible for four separate attempted ATM break-ins across Calgary.

The attempts took place at the following locations:

  • In the 200 block of Crowfoot Crescent N.W. on Friday, Oct. 25;
  • In the 8500 block of Eight A Avenue S.W. on Saturday, Nov. 9;
  • In the 2900 block of Richmond Road S.W. on Sunday, Nov. 17; and,
  • In the 6400 block of Bowness Road N.W. on Saturday, Dec. 21.

In all four incidents, police say two people entered ATM vestibule areas between 2 and 4 a.m. – in some cases spray painting over security cameras – then attempting to access the ATM vault.

"Only one attempt at accessing the cash held in the vault area has been successful," police said in a news release.

Police believe the suspects each drove different vehicles, but say during two of the incidents they were in a grey 2015-2016 Dodge Caravan and a grey 2012-2014 Audi Q7.

Anyone with information about the incidents or the identity of the suspects is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
