Cochrane man charged after BB pellets fired at residence early Sunday

A Cochrane resident has been charged in relation to a home being shot with pellets early Sunday morning.

Just after 3 a.m., Cochrane RCMP received reports of shots being fired at a residence in the Glendale subdivision of Cochrane.

Upon arrival, police were able to determine that the home had been shot with a BB gun or sling shot.

When one resident went outside to investigate, they were shot at but not injured.

Officers were able to locate and arrest a suspect.

A 35-year-old Cochrane resident has been charged with mischief and assault with a weapon.

The suspect was released on conditions for a future court date in Cochrane.
