Calgary police are on the hunt for two suspects in connection to a Tuesday afternoon stabbing that sent one man to hospital in life-threatening condition.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, a 35-year-old man was entering his vehicle outside of a store in the 1300 block of 10 Ave. S.W. when he was approached by two men. An altercation occurred and the victim was stabbed.
The victim continues to receive medical treatment at Foothills Hospital where he remains in life-threatening condition.
The first suspect is described as:
- An Asian male
- Between 25 and 35-years-old
- Approximately 5’10” – 6’ tall
- Weighing between 200 and 225 lbs
- Having an athletic build
At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a grey sweatshirt and black pants.
The second suspect is described as:
- Having dark skin
- Between 25 and 35-years-old
- Approximately 5’7” – 5’10” tall
- Having an average build
Police believe the stabbing was a targeted attack and the CPS Gangs Unit is investigating.
A red Honda Odyssey with black steel rims and a Calgary Stampeders logo in the rear window was in the area at the time of the stabbing.
