The investigation into what caused a major fire at a southeast warehouse continues.
Shortly after 5:30 Friday afternoon, emergency crews responded to the Standen's Limited location in the 5700 block of 11 Street Southeast following reports of smoke billowing from the roof of the building.
Dark smoke poured from the building and over Deerfoot Trail and police closed a section of 11 Street S.E. to traffic near the 58 Avenue S.E. intersection.
Approximately 100 employees were evacuated from Standen's. No injuries were reported.
Calgary Fire Department crews attacked the rooftop blaze using aerial equipment.
Standen's Limited manufactures vehicle parts including axles and suspensions.
